I remember it well because Klaus Kreiger let me have a play on his drum kit at the end of the show. I was a bit timid to really give it a bash as the roadies were dismantling the rest of the gear.

My mate saw then in Edinburgh on the 78 tour. Says it was one of the worst concerts he's attended.

I've got to admit that if I saw them on that tour or perhaps 1980 then I don't think I would have bothered again

Manchester Apollo 78. My thoughts at the time, superb atmosphere, lasarium fantastic! Musically, I was a bit, confused with change in direction, “Singing and heavy drumming" was bemusing! However Madrigal Meridian brilliant! Now I think back to the concert, I shouldn’t have got so uptight and just absorbed it all with a fresh outlook. I quite like Cyclone now.

Having said that and a bit on a contridiction...this is something I can’t seem to do with view to recent concerts as I’m not a big fan of most of TDs current music. Even though I enjoyed RAH, especially the early stuff, for me, it wasn’t close enough to the original sounds…. But then again you can’t please everyone!!
