i have a question specifically about this.

and it also concerns "stormbringer" from this:
http://www.voices-in-the-net.de/ttree071.htm

"Echodrive Galaxy" was on TT vol. 41
http://www.voices-in-the-net.de/ttree041.htm

both are recordings from Brighton in 1976. as i'm sure you all know, TT vol. 81 was recorded in Brighton on June 10th 1976.
http://www.voices-in-the-net.de/ttree081.htm

according to voices in the net, "Echodrive Galaxy" was recorded on October 10th of the same year. and "Storm Bringer" doesn't have any details as far as i know

so was this a mistake, or was there actually a brighton show in october? if so, does anyone know which date Stormbringer belongs to?

edit: sorry if this is the wrong board for it

Just listen to the music & compare: Stormbringer is the same music as Part One of TT81 (which is in better quality of course), so it's from June 1976.
The note at VitN seems to be a typo. Most probably there was no concert in Brighton in October 1976: according to the tourbook the Stratosfear European Tour started on Oct 20th [in Germany], the first concert of the british section of the tour was on Nov 3rd (Edinburgh).

i did my best to compare them. i even put them side by side and looked at the wave forms and they just seemed too different. but i'll take your word for it, it seems like a pretty good explanation. thank you!
