I don't think he was in a good physical or mental condition at that time.
If there was an album to symbolize a man's decline it was 'Babel' from 1987. It starts out excellent, but becomes more and more fragmented, and at the end downright scary, but to no positive effect.

for BM, the ks years are Irrlicht to Med Pads, all else KS is not on my radar (which has a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng reach), my three KS for history are Irrlicht, Cyborg and the totality of Timewind, a record I never tire of.

X is a goodie as well as Moondawn

Babel was my first KS cassette!
Replaced it on cd obviously but i like it.
As u know from this thread my KS collection is a tad limited (at the moment) but Babel is a fave.
