Hoshiko Yamane

Post by la sagesse du destin »

Hoshiko Yamane is playing violin on the great track Fay Bewitching the Moon, excerpt of the next promising TD album The Island of the Fay.
(section Downloads from the TDOC Webpage)

Is Hoshiko Yamane a guest only for one track or a future member at the next live performances?
Suspense....

In the videos from this link, we discover that Hoshiko Yamane is playing many experimental music.
We can see Vncent de Quiram, the famoust guitarist from PPM in some tracks.

Really like the new track. Listening to it again now. A nice touch with the violin. The track is in my opinion quite similar to some of the music Klaus Schulze has done. And that is just good. :-)

Ha. Totally missed that it was Hoshiko Yamane. I noticed that there was electric violin and assumed it was Bernie. Obviously I didn't read the full post. Very nice playing. Very nice track. Very keen to hear the rest of the album now.

I never knew him or her. Nice violist and great song. If the rest of the cd is in the same order, then it will be the best cd we had in years.

:) Not bad but needs a bit more input on it I think. I assume she is touring this year with TD but there is no mention of it. Early days perhaps as far as the site goes but nice to see Hoshiko out there on the good old WWW!! :)

:) I see that Hoshiko is taking part in a tour by Jane Birkin which commences at the end of September and finishes at the start of December 2012. It includes one gig in London at the Cardogan in Sloane Square Terrace but a lot of the tickets have already been sold. Would love to see Hoshiko but am not sure that Jane Birkin is exactly my cup of tea!!

To the TD fans who live in Berlin and around : you can support Hoshiko for her first solo live ! :)

It will be on next Monday (20 January 2014) at the bar "Madame Claude Berlin". Can someone take pictures and / or videos ?
