Post by phaedra1974 »

There is an ebay seller from Austria, who sells the following item:

http://www.ebay.de/itm/Original-Acryl-G ... 512wt_1243

Original acryl glass picture from Edgar Froese 1967.

Do you think this is an original?

well, i think the only person able to confirm its authenticity is Edgar himself.

500 euros for this is a bargain if it is a 'froese'

Had a feeling it wasn't an EF original. It doesn't look like the sort of thing he'd do.

I remember seeing some of his arts, sculptures and so on his homepage some time ago, but I think it was contemporary works.

I would really like to see some of the things he did at the end of the sixties...

Well he definitely did a sculpture of Dali's head, which is absolutely stunning, back in the late 60s.
