Almost . I'm just watching the delete scenes and the trailer (sounds daft with an Orchestral score!)
Strange to read that L&B Barron wanted to call their score Electronic Music, but as they weren't in the Union, they had to change the title to Electronic Tonalities. Either way they stuck to their guns and wouldn't even leave New York to record the score.
Yeah, this is truly a science fiction classic. What did they call it in the behind-the-scenes feature on the DVD? The "Star Wars" of its day? How true. Even today, the special effects still hold up remarkably well, and that Id Monster attack can still raise the goosebumps! A sheer delight to watch!
BTW, didn't someone release a soundtrack of the music (sorry, "electronic tonalities" -- bloody musicians union!)? I seem to recall seeing an ad for it in Starlog magazine back in the 1970s/80s.
