Saw 'Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy' yesterday. Excellent film making but not one to go to if you don't like being patient or thinking too much at the flicks. Great 70's detail and some fine acting.
Look for the sounds of Digital Horizons at http://digitalhorizons.bandcamp.com/ and on iTunes, CDBaby, Amazon Downloads and Reverbnation.

Hopefully going to see this film myself, with the missus, soon. Both of us are quite keen to see it.

The original is superb, dunno why they keep on remaking these classics as they are never as good.

Watched a film yesterday that we'd recorded off Sky.

The American, starring George Clooney.

The most senseless waste of an hour and a half of my life ever.

It could have been condensed into a 30-minute short.

Dull, drawn-out and just plain boring.

Probably because it's "safer" to remake a classic than to take a chance and shoot something new.
Plus this current generation of youngsters likes to have things that are "re-imagined" and are therefore "better/more modern" than the originals.
They're not interested in going to see the actual originals because they were made "in the dark ages".

I loved the original (or is it?) with Kurt Russell. Very chilling. Can't imagine why it needs a remake.

Just watched "The Negotiator " again, on Film4 with the family.

Good story, good action, a wee bit dated now and a wee bit schmalzy

Good performance by Spacey, he is a talented actor.
