Currently going through the Twinnings flavoured tea varieties - the lemon blush one is extremely refreshing - by doing this Ive reduced the amount of coffee drunk during the day , and therefore have much more restfull sleep .

Here in the South, sweet iced tea is something of a staple -- particularly on those h0t summer days. Can't wait until the weather warms up a bit here. I make a pretty good pitcher of the stuff. (No brag, just fact.)

I love tea. Require at least 6 cups a day or cant function.

Trying Typhoo this week, very nice, usually addicted to PG Tips

Interesting whisky references in this thread, without doubt the best whisky in the world is TALISKER , made on Skye from girders

I used to get paid for drinking whisky btw 8)

I prefer Coffee always have one with my second fag in the morning...makes me cough less and really stimulates me to get dressed and then sit for an hour listening to the radio.

I do like a nice cup of tea and my favorite is "Glengettie" which is made here in the principality........i cut down on the coffee as it does tend to stop the sleep cycle.
RIP Edgar. I am going to miss you.

Tea Drinking & Biscuit Association

All, I have recently joined the |t|db|a|, a very friendly bunch, we spend some evenings and weekends at the local church hall, discussing knitting patterns, cake recipes and the relative merits of enormous muffins.

As well as sipping various teas, we also listen to our favourite music-mostly Cliff Richard and Mantovani. I really feel this association is the one for me, every one is so nice and jolly, they even helped me locate a denture specialist, really friendly bunch!!

Laphroaig is very very good, but im still partial to the Glenfiddich :P
Lapsang Souchong tea is dried over wood smoke, which is why I suggested Laphroaig. I just got some Lapsang Souchong, but alas, I have no Laphroaig right now, but I do have Talisker and Lagavulin, so I think I'll try one of those. I'll report back how it tastes.

...doubt if I can bring myself to dump Lagavulin into a cup of tea, though . . .
