Nebulous Dawn (from Zeit). Very creepy. I played this on my front porch on Halloween a long time ago. Scared a little girl who was approaching the house.

Near Dark has some spooky bits, too.

Dirty Crossroads from Flashpoint

Sorcerer Main Title

Always Main Title off Sorcerer for me....absolutely terrifying! But you're spot on Colin, a lot of The Keep does have a very dark, brooding atmosphere...very unsettling stuff :shock:

I've been checking out my scary stuff :wink:

The ones mentioned like Sorceror, Nebulous Dawn and especially
Fauni-Gena from atem are pretty dam scary.

However my vote has to go for;

WHAN........ :shock: x infinity.

Its like yiv wakened in a pitch black neolithic cave and are slowly being sneaked up on and surrounded by the occupants. Terrifying. Fortunately it has a happy ending as you escape into the light through a wee escape chute when the music chills out at the end. :?

Stuff of nightmares. I quite like it though :wink:

Sorcerer- first track- Main Title. The sound of a nightmare. Nothing else comes close.
That's a good one. I think that when I first heard that it was also the first time I released that music could be genuinely scary. The choral parts of Rubycon also still give me the chills. Shame TD weren't given the score of Alien to do by Ridley Scott, that would have been interesting.

For me it's the RAH 75 concert. Starts off ok but from when the mellotron choir comes in 3 minutes into the 2nd mvmt of Part 1 I can't listen with the light off. 2nd mvmt of Part 2 is if anything even scarier! What is it about mellotron choirs that terrify me so much?

The "dog trapped in eternal torment" section of Phaedra I find pretty scary too

It's the start of Rubycon part two for me. Those air-raid siren drones are something else. They spooked my sisters so much when we were kids that I was banned from playing it through the speakers!
