Another true Classic. Top 5 TD albums. I recorded this on cassette and played through Sony walkman while backpacking in the Sierra Nevada's.

Now I think it's an incredible achievement. Many have tried to emulate it and none have got even close. It's totally engrossing. It truelly sounds otherworldly.
:D 8) The mighty Rubycon
Indeed.

Had to listen to it again tonight just to remind myself how extraordinary it is.

What setting of taps provide the best sound quality?

I've always like Edgar's backwards guitar on pt 2...hmm

I wonder what it sounds like the right way round with all the sequncers reversed? ;)

but does anyone think the end of Rubycon pt2...the Mellotron Flute...sounds like the bit on Ricochet part 2 before the sequencer kicks in?

The first TD album I ever bought. An instant classic and one of the band's very best works.

I am up to Rubycon with my looking back  :)

I am however going to wait for that expensive new "Remastered/Ltd Card Cover-Jap - Stock # 145603" from CDS for extensive listening pleasure.

No sign of that yet though :(
