The Angel of the West Window

Post by Insvims »

Another new album in this series so soon. That is great! :-)

Do you think the track The Angel of the West Window from Booster III will actually be the title track for this new album? Or maybe just a companion track to the album with the same name?

It would make sense for it to be the title track really.

(But that does not mean it WILL be of course)

I think it only will be a companion track, because Booster III is already an "old" album (2009)... but who knows ?

What do you think of the new track "Hoël Dhat" ?
I find it nice, but not very special. So let's wait for the entire album... :)

Same here. Bit tired of the "female vocal" sound now......

But will wait patiently for the full album.
Well, as patiently as TD fans can be

I hope that there will be some Thorsten Quaeschning compositions too, like on the great "Island of the fay" album...

This album already released on CD & download:

THE ISLAND OF THE FAY
Artist: Tangerine Dream

This work is the beginning of a new series by Tangerine Dream: EASTGATE´S SONIC POEM SERIES. EDGAR ALLAN POE definitely is worth a start, a novelist who long enough has been labelled as dark, mysterious and gloomy only - Poe was more than that - a true visionary.
Edgar Allan Poe´s ´The ISLAND OF THE FAY´ has been set to music by Edgar and Thorsten in a very exciting, dynamic and partly experimental way - a new violinist sets her maverick accents with electric sounds. It´s the art of breathing life into a tale through strong music. Enjoy this true masterpiece of finest Tangerine Dream music - we don´t promise too much....PS: You will find the whole but short tale of THE ISLAND OF THE FAY within the booklet! Enjoy reading but above all: enjoy listening!!

Soon:

The Angel Of The West Window

- the 2nd in the series.

Nice track. Only heard it a couple of times so far but really enjoyed it. Not as intense as some of the music on The Island Of The Fay. Good to have light and shade though.

My bet is that it is....

...but it wouldn't be the first time I'd been wrong.

Seems TD are a bit of a roll at the moment. The Island Of The Fay, The Gate Of Saturn, The Sonic Universe Show (with all new music) and now this. It's great being a TD fan at the moment. :D
