If anyone remembers progressive rock band Third Quadrant, they reformed this year for a concert which is now available to download from Bandcamp. It's only £5 for an 11-track gig almost 80 minutes long.

After the unprecedented success of EMI/Mute's CD issue of CAN's 'Lost Tapes' Box Set, they decided to issue it as a Very Limited 5LP Vinyl Edition.
Pressed on luxurious 180gm Vinyl and housed in Heavy Board Sleeves, these highly desirable platters are assembled into 12" Square, old-fashioned 2-Piece Tape Box-Style Packaging, with a 28-Page 12" Sized Booklet that includes Exclusive Sleeve Notes by Irmin Schmidt and Ian Harrison (in English and German). Obviously, the material on this special release has all been mastered from the source tapes, and is sure to sell out on initial orders!

Curated by Irmin Schmidt and Daniel Miller, and edited and compiled by Jono Podmore, CAN's 'Lost Tapes' rarities box includes unreleased studio, soundtrack and 'live' material and the finished product is stylish and highly collectable. Prior to the release of the 3CD 10" Box version issued in June 2012, there was a great deal of expectation about the release for a number of years and after seeing the finished production I can tell you that this has the usual Mute Records stamp of high quality production values, in both packaging and music departments.
