harmonicaman wrote:The opening track from the movie "The Keep" is by Brian Eno,
not a cover of it by TD,
but a Brian Eno solo "demo" intended for the Brian Eno / David Byrne "My Life In the Bush Of Ghosts "album.

Parts of the track can be heard on the official 'Bush Of Ghosts' album itself entitled "Mea Culpa", the actual track exactly as it appears in the movie, and a completely different version from the official release of 'Bush Of Ghosts' , is featured on a bootleg album called "Ghosts", and is that albums title track, it is a demos and out-takes collection of tracks that essentially makes up an "alternate" version of the Eno/Byrne album .

and very good it is too.

Thats why its not on any official version of the soundtrack - its not a TD track in any way shape or form, and they don't play it
I sit corrected...it's the first I've heard of this...cheers

A bit like Confrontation then? :)

Thank you so much, and everyone else for their help.

I've bidded on a CD on Ebay with the track Mea Culpa, and hopefully i'll win it.

If i do i'll be playing it full blast and might get an ASBO for noise pollution

Totally agree - I absolutely adore 'Ancient Powerplant' (or Fisherman's Morning as it was once called) - and rank it in my top five all time favourite TD tracks.
