Some of the most beautiful pieces they ever made...

Post by whiteeagle »

Please take a look on this list with the most beautiful and emotional pieces that TD ever done, IMHO:

1)'Mysterious Semblance at the Strand of Nightmares'.
brings tears in my eyes.

2)'Big Sleep in Search of Hades'
little gem off 'Stratosfear' -strange and beautiful.

3)'Cloudburst Flight'

4)'Tangram set 1'
Please take a listen to the piano solo piece by Johannes how the piece develops with the other instruments coming, until it stops and the steps-like sound comes, then before side 1 ends, by the time the sequences fade away, listen please how the finale develops -it's almost
classical music like -deeply emotional and majestic.

5)Piano improvisations by Johannes:
East Berlin concert and
1980 Brussels Cirque Royal
-emotions interplay -awsome!

6)'Hyberborea'
mysterious and majestic

7)'Song For The Whale Part 2 '
as the 'Future Music' magazine says considering this track:
"God bless them!"

add yours to this list please :)

It's a great list whiteeagle and there are certainly some of my favourites there. Off the top of my head, I'd add:

Desert Dream
Elf June And The Midnight Patrol
Twenty-Nine Palms
Logos (Velvet Part)
Final Statement
Love On A Real Train and
White Eagle

Come to think of it most of TD's music is simply beautiful in both composition and production.
True emotion stirru's as many of us on here are very aware of , listened to logo's from the recent Astoria gig today and could feel the hairs rising on me neck.
