Way too much money...unless you were bidding on my copy of Redshift's first CD...in which case £117 was a complete bargain ;)

Apart from I sold it for a lot? ;) not a lot...IMHO...unless you're an avid RS fan, then the original issue was worth a mint, and luckily I sold it just before they re-printed it (10 years after it first came out)

Good result andy, I didn't go a lot on it, prefered the second. But too much like Rubycon / Richochet era for me.

Um...played it twice...ten years apart: my opinion didn't change.

Back on topic, I agree with Colin...go for the 1999 re-issue, if you can

The 97 issue is a nice package but unless you put something between the disc and the cover the green rubbery retainer that holds the disc marks the booklet. Nice for such a anticipated release.

All joking aside, although I bought this CD nearly 10 years ago ,I hadn't given it a really good listen untill very recently.
My initial impression was to put it in the collection (that was 1997) and thats where it stayed, listening to it now it should have had more regular plays. I did have one of the various booties of it prior to the TDI version andmust admit I thought the music content to be better on the Bootie than the original TDI version.
