Tadream thread, just downloaded both versions of the track, very nice, but with a LONG sample from Rubycon...stands out a mile!

The link on the Tadream site didn't work for me.

it's broken Mick, but I'm not sure the excerpts play the right bit anyway...Rubycon doesn't start until about 5 minutes in:

try this

copy and past the whole thing!

I just downloaded Recoil's Allelujah (Ambient Version) from CDON.COM (price 1 €), which samples Rubycon Part 1. It's a VERY nice track, somehow it reminds me of Paul Haslinger.
A worthy tribute.

My favourite Depeche Mode member is Alan Wilder. I remember reading on the old forum, that White Eagle was used as background music somewhere in the documentary, 101, showcasing their 1988 USA tour. That was enough reason for me to buy 101
Alan seemed to be nicest of the bundle, and showed some rather impressive keyboard techniques, which I think, helped me to understand, how TD could play what they did on the Optical Race tour.

Isn't Allelujah the name of choir preset used on Inferno, and such? Aaaayyeeeaaahh?

Not sure if 'preset' is the right word...it's probably off a sample CD
