Musically 'White Eagle' is a great album and 'Mojave Plan' one of TDs best ever pieces.

But I've always thought the production on the album is too dry (lacking in reverb) and there's quite a bit of tape hiss.

'Mojave Plan' as previewed on the 1981 tour was much more powerful. The sequencer rhythms were more prominent and Johannes' Mini Moog solos were a delight - being the only noticeable thing that was different from performance to performance.

For some reason I was never too keen on White Eagle, however listened to it yesterday for the first time in a few months and really enjoyed it.

Mojave Plan is class.

I find that fairly often when revisiting albums, the true quality emerges.

Going to play it again later today.
