he's said this twice before as well mate, once was in E-Dition magazine, and the other was (in a round about way) after the Tempodrom gig..he said something like 'you can wheel me out when I'm 80' ;)

If any musician deserves to retire it's Edgar.

....selfishly; I'm very glad he isn't going to though.

From an interview for the Berlin "tip" magazine in January 1983:

Q: And what will happen in 1990?
Froese: Tangerine Dream will just cease to exist.

I'm curious if there'll be an answer to this riddle in Edgar's book!
In any case, we can count ourselves lucky he changed his mind. :-)

While Edgar can find sympathetic musicians to work with (and get a good two way flow going) and while we are here to support him in his work, I'm sure he'll keep going as long as he feels he can contribute something.

I very much look forward to his book when it appears!

Am I the only TD fan who thinks that one night in space sounds like it has elements of the sound of Rush's Red Sector A (from Grace Under Pressure)?

Notably, the part of the song that begins with "are we the last ones left alive"

TD and vocals - Streethawk Episode 3

Post by wayfarer »

This may well have been discussed on here before, but....

I noticed rewatching episode 3 of Streethawk a song that I can only decribe as "The Devil's Side" has a definite TD production to it, rather a straightforward muzak like track that used to pepper series like Knight Rider. Anyone got any info on it, or views?

MY view on Streethawk - is why have'nt we got a CD of the original Music.
Ive heard quite a lot of good and poor quality boots from thsi film, and the music -unreleased- sounds great.
