It crops up for sale on the German ebay in the Tangerine Dream category the most Theo, and the German version has a different cover to the US/UK issues...... it is of course now corrected and becoming very hard to find
RIP Edgar. I am going to miss you.

Some nice music on this soundtrack but I have to say that the Pink Floyd-a-like track really winds me up. Not because it's bad or anything but because I can just imagine the director (Andrei Konchalovsky) insisting on a track just like Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here instead of allowing them to write their own music.

never my favorite, also quite unsubstantial. after the vocal "long", the rest flows gently and rapidly. key touches and that's all.

This is a mixed album for me: There are some top quality pop-songs here, but some meandering dross too...

I have always been impressed with the vocal tracks on this album, particularly Dancing on a White Moon - lovely electronics, lovely melody, perfect composition (imho!)

When I originally bought Shy People Our Price had about 30 other TD LP's and about 15 TD cd's on the shelves. I was spoilt for choice and wish it were still the case. It's a good album and I even like Dancing on a White MOon ..But it is so unlike TD.

Amazon.com advertices with 4 second CD copies and 1 new CD. Only the prices are enormous, at least $ 50,- for a second hand and $ 90'- for the new one, at least if it's new.

I remember this out the same time as Near Dark - played the latter more and subsequently replaced it on CD - not so Shy People - must check it out again
