:D :D Does the team think........ That some of the vocals on One Times One might possibly be samples of the lovely Iris Camaa. 8) 8)

Didn't Mike Oldfield recently made a record containing computer-generated female vocals? Maybe it helps comparing it to One Times One for finding out which of the voices there are computer-generated too and which voices are not ... ?

:D :D Having another listen, now. Some are definitely 'samples' because you can here the clipping. However, the longer sections, I'm not so sure. :?:

( thought it'd be Morse code!  )

Maybe it's Edgar's computer being too slow for realtime voice rendering?

Yeah, Light and Shade. Mike used Cantor by Virsyn and Zero G's Vocaloid on this album for the vocals. I know Edgar uses another Virsyn plug in on stage and I have a feeling he uses Cantor on 'Daughters of time'. Could be wrong though!!!!! :D

I did wonder that but came to the opinion that it was probably a sample from someone else.

The behind-the-scenes clips on the new DVD prove what a great voice Iris has. I knew she had a good pop voice, but it seems she'd have been at home doing the operatic parts on the Dante trilogy too.
