Well, assuming your ex does NOT like TD, then anything would be appropriate. Just put something on the turntable or CD player and crank up the volume! (What's she gonna do? Divorce you? :D :? )

I hate to think about my dearest and I ever splitting we are soul mates and she is THE best freind I've ever had. She also has the patience of a saint and is tollerant of my obsession with music. She likes some TD too but her taste in music is for the most part shite..

I've been torturing my wife with TD for well over two decades and she's still around.

What's the matter with her?

Mota Atma - still don't understand why I don't like that album, it's got all the TD traits but it would probably be the one I'd play on my divorce (problem is I'm single and not married anyway)

Same here, maybe I didn't give more chance to this album, but it's boooring to me. When I separated from my ex-girl, I listened (mostly during jogging) Ulrich Schnauss's Goodbye like mad :) It helped me a lot :) And also new TD stuff (Summer in Nagasaki, specially Cimbing Mount Inasa, In The Cherry Blossom Hills and Ayumi's Butterflies.

I think the prob with Mota Atma is the absence of a booklet explaining a bit about the music. It has atma="soul" in its title but it's very abstract and kind of unwieldy music ... something that doesn't really fit to "soul" music.

So yes I think Mota Atma could be perfect divorce music by adding a bit of extra confusion! ;-)

Got to be honest here but Mota Atma has never really appealled to me much. I didn't really "get it" when it first came out despite everyone raving about it. Since many of my favourite TD albums are ones I didn't "get" first time round maybe I ought to give it another listen.
