I remeber (JUST) being there for the gig, i've a not good memory and can't remember if that was the year i saw them loads? After the british tour did they play the paris olympia ? If so then i went over there as well and caught both shows early and later. I'm sure someone will help me remember if it was.

I think the Paris Olypia concerts were 1986 ? this would have been 1982.

I know exactly where you are coming from Dave, the amount of gigs I went to in the early 80's, nearly one a week ! , I can't remember half of the content, apart from the one's which really stood out, and seeing TD in Bristol , I think 4 nights before Logos was recorded, was one of those outstanding shows.

The 1986 concerts were just as memorable !. :D

Most certainly was an experience - saw them in 82 for the first time then twice in 86, but I think I still get the same joy from seeing them now as I did then.

All this is bringing back some memories, An Ex driving down the motorway on bomfire night to go to Birmingham Odean New Street see the dream and Chris Franke giving me and mate Bailey a Black tour jacket at 1 of the gigs after the show. Going in to East Berlin when we went the Riegstag gig coming back to the west and Ant an Rich went through check point and i got stopped because i had some East German marks still on me. I had to open a bank account in the East!!
God loads of things coming back.
