First album was Poland...believe it or not I didn't think it was that great. I was later on in that year at a mates house where he let me hear Cyclone, Rubycon & Phaedra on a really good system. Since then I've bought everything I can and in 84 I would never have believed TD would become my fave band. My mate also recommended Klaus Schulze so I scraped 15 quid together (which was a lot in 84) and bought the imported album Mirage and my love for Electronic music really took off. I did like JMJ and Space long before TD though but I had hear of them back in the 70's.

First became aware of TD in 1975 when my brother gave me a copy of Rubycon.

Didn't like it at all. :oops:

...but found myself playing it compulsively a few months later.

BM first became aware of Tangerine Dream early this morning and has been busy listening to their albums in order of release, so far I have got to 'Underwater Sunlight' and 'Live miles'.......looks like this afternoon will be interesting
