solo 74/79
As the only other solo album i had heard was the legendary (and still missing from my collection in its orginal form ) Epsilon In Malaysian Pale, 74/79 was a fantastic album for me including tracks i knew id own one day, from Stuntman etc, and ones that are again harder to find in the orginal form from Macular Transfer.
I loved the cover, EF in his hat from above and the back of the sleeve, EF walking across a baron desert...a picture surely inspired by the track 'Drunken Mozart In The Desert'.
I know we've had the superb Beyond the Storm and excellent Orange Light Years since but what i wouldnt do to have an orginal of the Solo 74/79 album and the priceless Epsilon In Malaysian Pale on cd.
Imagine a beautiful digipak unfolding with the lush green fern leaves with a nice thick booklet with pics and thoughts on 'epsilon'.
My life would be complete...well...kind of.
