With so much excellent music released since Metaphor it is nearly impossible to pick just 3 tracks, but here we go:

1: Persistence of Memory

2: Mystery of Life and Death

3: Babylon the Great has fallen

Difficult one this ! and with each post reply I suspect I'll be saying oh yes I forgot about that one !.

So many tracks over the releases since Metaphor does make this a real challenge. 8)

Here goes -

1. Sound of a Shell - Views - one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard.

2. Sphinx Lightening 2008 - a masterfull reworking.

3. Ayumi's Butterflies - another stuningly beautitful piece.

And yours CJ ?

1) Mataphor Second Reality
2) Armageddon In The Rose Garden Pt 2
3) Hunter Shot By A Yellow Rabbit

I must say it is almost an impossible task as there are so many good tracks especially on the Atomic Seasons

Think a list of releases since Metphor may be a good starting point.

1. Metaphor.
2. TD plays TD.
3. Madcaps Flamming Duty.
4.Springtime in Nagasaki.
5.Summer in Nagasaki.
6.Sleeping Watches Snoring in Silence.
7.Bells of Accra.
8.One Night in Space.
9.Booster.
10.Anthology Decades.
11.Views from a Red Train.
12.Armageddeon in the Rose Garden.
13.Purple Diluvial.
14.Tangram 2008.
15.Hyperborea 2008.
16.Das Romantische Opfer

Anymore ?

What a stunning amount of music for a relatively short period of time 8)

When you see it written down like that you realise what a large body of great work TD have released even in a relatively short time frame. (well I do anyway!) Roll on November!

Well, I'll pick 4 tracks from the few albums I have heard: 8)

Hymn To Intellectual Beauty
that irish song from Madcap
Ayumi's Butterflies (although it sounds just like Enigma)
Persistence Of Memory Part III

I'll pick 3 tracks from the ones that I own (Springtime/Summer in Nagasaki on order - TD plays TD soon to be added to list)

1. Sphynx Lightning 2008 (I cannot say enough about this track)
2. I Could Hear It When The Moon Collapsed On Broadway
3. Sleeping Watches Snoring In Silence

I could easily expand this list to at least 10.....11.....12

Only three tracks !
You are very hard with us Colin

At this moment I think to:

1 : One Night in Space (the Booster version or the VFART version ,it's the same quality)(the first track on my top Last FM)
2: Wu Wei (a fantastic rework of a fantastic track)
3: Purple Diluvial ( a great long track from Thorsten)

But it's very difficult to not write tracks from Madcap Flaming Duty or Summer In Nagasaki and as you said since Metaphor all is great.
Before Metaphor all was...... different but great too.

Blimey.

Tough choice this one.

Sound of a shell and possibly Run to Vegas off the top of my head.

Away to listen to those albums right now to decide on this :D

PS Epsilon, where's your three

1,Leviathan - This blew me away on first listen and still does
2,One Night In Space
3,Sadness of Echnaton Losing The World Child

I have to say "Bells Of Accra" comes very close to coming in that top 3 as does "Astrophel & Stella" and "Carmel Calif"

The music since Metaphor has been outstanding IMHO and maybe i should have allowed a Top Ten
RIP Edgar. I am going to miss you.
