:(

i don´t know why they only applaud politely before the gig......... but it has nothing to do with the crowds age ;) ....... maybe because it was a seating (seats for the audience) concert which always has the character of a classic concert and not like a rock concert, where you can dance and move........... but the applause AFTER the gig was a warm one and outstanding for a german td-audience imo.

i see that i must visit a td-concert in england......... it seems to be something totally different.
Speak to Bianca and ask her what they thought about the reception they received in London...where 'half' of the audience was sitting down. Wasn't the UCLA gig seated as well mate?

I've got to say that it probably took Chris (cheerleader) Newman to wake the Zitadelle audience up. Chris mate, you're a nut job but totally TD through and through..if I hadn't been laughing so much I might have given you a cheer or failing that a beer ;)
as i wrote: i don´t know why it´s so different between germany and england :(

besides of this: it´was a wondeful concert :)
Now that I've attended the London Eye concert and the Zitadelle concert, I've seen the difference in support for TD between the two countries. Back in 1988-1989 when I was in West Berlin they had little or no support. No, I did not see TD perform back then. But I went to a TD expo in West Berlin. That was the only place I could find anything TD related. Even at the local bar/disco had one album by the Tangs, Force Majeure. Everytime I go to the bar and asked to spin the album they would play it, but with protest. But as far as the audience at the Zitadelle, I thought they enjoyed the concert and supported TD 100%. As far as the security for the venue, thats a different story. Terrible. By far the worst that I've seen. Almost looked like we were back in the pre-wall days (1942-44).
I see why Edgar aknowledges London as "its good to be back home."
But still a very good venue with a good crowd.

Thank you for sharing your pictures and videos. Its alway good to see pictures/videos from a different location. Good collection of videos. Unfortunately I was only able to video a minute or less at a time. Too many security around. I did get almost the entire song Cloudburst Flight.
Cheers Peter!
