....in speaking of drums, I was wondering the other days, who bangs the drums in 'Beach Theme'?
Chris Franke? Klaus Krueger?
The other version, in side 2 if my memory is correct, has the usual drum computer.

And what about Persistence Of Memory Part 3 by Quaeschning from Springtime In Nagasaki? Another track with what sounds like real drums.

My feeling is that the drums on 'Beach Theme' were added after TD had handed Michael Mann their finished work, by whoever drummed on Craig Safan's 'Confrontation'.

Yeah, Beach Theme - pure energetic and real playing Drums :-)
And chris why should not even have recorded?
On the Ricochet production also hears drums. These were certainly subsequently added.

The drums were added by the record company to try and create a 'hit single'. It is not Mr. Franke at all.

That's pretty much what I've long suspected but have no proof for.

Actually, I'm not new - I've been posting to the various TD websites since the first one went online back in '96. I've just been lurking since 'version 3.0' went online. I'll probably go back to lurking again...plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose.
