TROLLHUNTER

watch with confidence, saw this on blue/ray, superb, if you watch the UK version on blue/ray you get the choice of NORWEGIAN with english subtitles, or a dubbed version with other actors speaking in english, trust us to get the real atmosphere of this film, watch it in the original NORWEGIAN with the subtitles, loved it

3 week ago I went to see Battleship and dark shadow
Last Week I just got my package on LD are Executive Decision and Contact.
Contact on Laser Disc was made by Sony DADC pressing had some very technical problems.
This one I call (avoid at all cost) When I open it up I thought LD was manufactured from Japan
But it not it made by Sony DADC I was kind of bum about it.
Good news is when I test LD the video quality looks good Side 1 2 & 3 no laser rot.

PROMETHEUS

Yesterday i say this movie.

This is my opinion:

The Ridley Scott's ambition is rampant. Revealed in every detail (direction, design, technical) in the "Prometheus", the prikouel in "Alien" that marks the director's return to science fiction after "Blade Runner" in 1982. Before Ellen Ripley / Sigourney Weaver makes the first, third-type contact with toxic alien, was Elizabeth Shaw (Determined Rapas Noumea), an archaeologist who boarded Prometheus along with other researchers and mercenaries to locate the planet from where from the gods that created humanity. Because, you see, Scott's ambitions are not confined to the emergence of immaculate universe - from inside the vessel and gadgets available to players to mapping an unknown planet and early alien - but also in conflict with Darwin and Christianity in a futuristic potential search of eternal existential concerns us. But from there the design is impressive and the atmosphere gradually cultivated preparing for the worst, the same ambition in the script and turning boomerang reconciles the tension could conquer anxiety. Taking for granted the myth of all "Alien" that preceded deal with the arrogance necessary consistency in building the characters and leave them xekremastous moments that need more attention. Except one: that of the robot David, played - once again - great Michael Fasmpenter. Catalyst in the story, David loves the "Lawrence of Arabia", dyed his hair blond, "overhears" the dreams of fellow passengers, mocks their weaknesses and challenges the "parents" - as every true child. Nobody is willing to testify, obviously. And, okay, as you will hear left and right, narrative gaps exist, but ultimately not really matter. If Scott had loved the other children, the molding in the image and likeness of David, "Prometheus" would be a truly revolutionary film.

Seen a lot of people dissing it for not being Alien but my brother has seen it and said it was awesome so I have high hopes. I'm not going to take any pre-conceived ideas with me when I go to watch it.

The right way Chris...I'd seen a few trailers and an interview with Ridley Scott but avoided all spoilers and reviews. I went into it very open minded and was blown away! I wont say any more but I hope you enjoy it, my seats are booked for a second viewing Wednesday! :-) gotta be seen on the BIG screen! :-)
