:? FROM CDS: A Collectors only VERY Ltd TANGERINE DREAM Vinyl Box Set from the USA * Please Order By Return *

TANGERINE DREAM: VINTAGE YEARS (2x10" & 1x12" In A Box-USA - Stock # 1066512) 3V £22.99 After receiving several requests to import this very limited USA item, we are doing a one-off shipment from the States for it, so we thought we would give our other TD collectors the chance to nip in and get a copy as well, but you will have to be quick as only 500 copies have been manufactured!
'Vintage' is sort of an alternative edition of the forthcoming UK vinyl issue of: 'Ultima Thule-Electronic Magic Of TD', but presented differently and with less tracks in total, and packaged in a Ltd Edition Box.
The cover art features the same basic image that appears on the UK 3LP & 7" single set - Froese, Franke & Baumann standing in front of what looks like some sort of lunar landing vehicle, but with added colour filters and other super-imposed images and shapes. The box contains Two 10" vinyl EP's and a 12" vinyl EP of Tangerine Dream highlights, all selected by TD founder Edgar Froese, together with detailed personnel listings and a badge. The band's first incarnation was The Ones, and their 'Lady Greengrass' single together with it's B-side: 'Love Of Mine' features on the first of the 10" records. Their 1972 epic classic: 'Ultima Thule-Parts 1' & '2' features on the second 10" EP, and the 12" covers 4 highlights of their career. A dream come true TD collectors everywhere.
Track List - 10" # 1:
01. Lady Greengrass [The Ones - 1967]
02. Love Of Mine [The Ones - 1967
Track List - 10" # 2:
01. Ultima Thule-Part 1 [1972]
02. Ultima Thule-Part 2 [1972]
Track List - 12":
01. Sunset In The Fifth System [1973]
02. Asteroid Agenda [1972]
03. Exit To Heaven [1979]
04. Landing On 51

A lttle expensive for just three vinyl singles I feel but I suppose some may be interested from a 'collectors' point of view!! :)

I think I'll pas on this one. It would be nice but funds are allocated elsewhere.

You get the image that TD's musical output is the digestive system of a cow, and the record companies are a pair of hands around the udders....milking it for EVERYTHING it can!! "I think there'a another drop in there somewhere, and another, and another..." :D
