How I treasure those three solo tracks and how different they sound now in the context of hearing more solo material from each artist.

Box Set? It is a pan dimensional hypercube of joy set 8)

So contained within this thread we have;

Zeit
Ricochet
Force Majeure
Tangram
70-80s Virgin Box

all we need is Phaedra (and Rubycon) and if Carslberg did TD forum subjects, it would possibly be the best thread, exuding quality, in the history of threads........ ever :P

PS Other albums mentioned are also very cool :)

Oh, goodness.. I would have never guessed those rappers could also ruin Tangerine Dream... I heard once a slaughtering of "Snow Goose" by Camel in the same way, and I couldn't believe it... Where do they hear such good music and where do they get the idea to destroy it ? :shock:
Can't they create their own noise to go with their arrogant ramblings ? :evil:
every hip hop artist ever has sampled older music. using TD is actually pretty classy. i applaud that.

Phaedra: a mind safari, a journey across an alien landscape, that can entice the listener into many surprises in imagination. astonishing then and astonishing now :P :D

Me too but around 1975.

Didn't like it. Just a collection of sound effects and noises.

I now think it's a work of pure genius.

Feel a bit stupid now.
