Just received my copy and having a first listen - sounds pretty damn good to me

I like Loom but I would much rather see Mr Schmoelling produce another solo album as his previous releases were fantastic and so original and I miss that kind of output from him. Yes, you can often hear the Schmoelling sounds in Loom but it is not the same as the man doing his thing on his own. Will we ever see the like of those albums again?? I do hope so, cause I sure miss his unique style.

This is another superb live recording from Loom!
All songs was played at Ufa Fabrik.
Metamorphosis is a Robert Waters track, and is also released on his latest solo album.

I feel the atmosphere from the concert coming back

And not to forget the meet and greet in the lobby afterwards, and
drinks and a good chat with old td friends

I agree with you Ant. I've had a second listen to the album now and whilst I would undoubtedly have enjoyed the concert experience, I'm left with the feeling that Schmoelling is carrying the band with his incredible soloing. For me, Jerome's guitar seems "samey" and under rehearsed. I'm not sure what Waters brings to the band but I may be doing him a disservice.
Presumably, Loom's studio album is still in production. A new solo album from Mr S would be very welcome - what an incredible catalogue of solo works he has released since the end of his association with TD.

All three members bring a lot to the band. If you listen to Robert Waters' solo stuff you can see just how creative he is and how he contributes a good deal to the Loom "sound". I think Jerome Froese likes to indulge in a little improvisation when it comes to his guitar work, and not be too structured in that, particularly live. I agree a new solo album by Schmoelling would be most welcome. I thought A Thousand Times had some excellent tracks on there, a more consistent album than Time and Tide and Instant City (in my opinion), those those albums had some great tracks as well. I'm really looking forward most of all to a new Jerome Froese solo album. I've loved all of them and it's been four years since The Far Side of the Face. His last EP also was fantastic.

I been very busy lately I don’t had time to buy any CD I just moving into a new place.
Its very nice house had my own room to make my own recording studio hee hee.
I’ve Putting away my CD and Vinyl’s collections, rearrange my room I’m almost done
If had time for myself I’ll buy this CD of loom.
