Tangerine Dream

Took in Ulrich's gig at the Islington Assembly Halls last Friday. The gig opened with an hour long session from Guy Andrews before the main man appeared. Guy's set was good and ended with a very loud intense session. A bit strange though as his equipment was all centre stage, and when he had finished his kit was dismantled and moved to one side. We expected Ulrich's equipment to be moved centre stage but no he was "hidden in the corner" with his back to the audience. That aside, an excellent concert with the expected high quality graphics, and very loud but you expect that from a small intimate venue. Loved his live version of Melts Into Air. Additional entertainment was provided by the three men in front of me who obviously could not keep their hands off each other
