Thing is, how the hell did they manage to build this in them auld anciente pictish days  If you see the surrounding landscape and access issues alone it is unbelievable.

We went to Egypt this year and I was blown away by the Pyramids, Karnak, The Valley of the Kings, The Temple of the Queen, The Colossus of Mnemnon, etc. Some of these things are 4, 5 and 6 thousand years old. It really takes your breath away.

I will go to Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada during my summer vacations in next two weeks. This is an "avant-goût" of the great Cabot Trail and the "largest Ceilidh kok in the World" located at the Sydney (NS) waterfront.

Finally the holidays!

Hmm,

I leave for a few weeks in Vietnam tomorrow. Down the coast then into Cambodia to see Angkor then Bangkok for a few days rest.

Should be interesting.

Sounds fantastic. I love that area of the world.

...but don't drink any Snake Whiskey. We've got a patient who's just come back from Vietnam and is very ill. The most likely cause is a very dodgy looking bottle of Snake Whiskey.

Going to Denmark with a couple of friends from monday to friday next week. Will visit scenic places like Skagen, and hopefully the island of Læsø. Looking forward to it!
