Might be one for the anoraks in us but can anyone locate their favourite segment of TD music i.e about 10-20 secs worth that sends shivers down the spine?
Mine is Ricochet pt2 17mins 27 secs to 17.40. Even though its a simple piece it does the biz.l

well, as of minutes ago, MG's ruby_CON part .1, at 10 seconds is just so immensely poor, that it shivers me timbers

There's the moment in the Dead Soilid Perfect title track where the bass sequence starts changing key.... Ooooh my, that causes Jouxson moments every time!

Two most memorable for me would be when the sequence kicks in on "Rubycon Part 1" and the start of "Mother's of Rain" Totally wonderful IMHO 8)

- ALL of Zeit!!

Yeah, if you stretched 20 secs out to a few minutes, I could mention a few early ones off the top of my head -

Atem 10 mins in -
Wahn just as the first drum thwack hits to when the percussion(concussion) settles down
Most of Phaedra's title track
All of Sequent c
The start of the sequencing on Rubycon 1 + 2. The otherworldy "Male Voice Choir" on part 2, the gentle sequence ending of part 2 to the end - oh sod it, the whole blinkin' record :!:
Maroubra Bay :!: :!: :!:
Sorcerer title track
Jury's out on parts of Stratosfear
Bits of Encore (gotta listen again)
Rising Runner...
Start of Cloudburst Flight
Beginning of Tangram
Ending of Mojave Plan
Remote Viewing
Dr Destrukto
Most of Logos --- "Break Out"
First half of first track of Poland
Various bits from Le Parc
Song Of The Whale - both parts
Alchemy Of The Heart

That enough for now?

rubycon prt2 where the bass sequencer pattern goes weirdly stereo.
The build up at the start of vermillion sands (Parisian Dreams boot).

It's hard to out point 10 seconds in such long tracks, that TD has made, and as you know, long equals good. I think the thirtheen tracks on MFD are extremely precise, and the length could not be more perfect.
So if I must chose only ten seconds, it can only be from "the divorce" from 1:35-1:48. Yes, that exceeds it with three seconds, but...my goodness, Hausl is awesome...

Two examples from Rubycon, both in Part 1: First, the slide into the sequencers (as Epsilon75 noted) and second, the twin "mini-crescendos" at roughly 12:30-12:45. Simply lovely.

Too many to choose from, but off the top of my head:

The beginning of Stealing The Silver Cross
The part in Cloudburst Flight, when "the storm breaks"
And just about any segment where a sequencer kicks in

Excellent question

This is exactly what I have been trying to tell people for 35 years now - its that special moment in a piece that gets you - yes usually when the seq or tone changes. There is load's of 'em. BUT I'll mention one special one for me

Live Miles -- Part 1 Albuquerque exactly 14.28 into it

Sequences all over the place and those drums - the build up is great and the piercing lead -- YESSSSSSSSSSSSS

I've done a ''Colin'' on this one many many times
