Tell that to the goth community.
I remember white was "the new black" in mid-90s goth circles, but now black is apparently all black again.

I think TD look good in black, and it would be kind of strange if there suddenly were a bunch of Ukranian revolutionaries on stage.

Got a feeling the first time I saw TD, Edgar was all dressed in white so it wasn't always that way.

Most likely a light wear for an occasion in which, after all, music's fashion counts.

It's strange that you should say that mate, as it seems to a quite common comment from TD fans recently. I've spoken to several and they all said they were 'almost' brought to tears during a gig...they're big tough nuts so obviously they'll deny it now ;) (I saw some moist eyes at the SBE ;)). Perhaps it's nostalgia for our youth or a youthful TD?, or perhaps it's just the power of music, regardless of era. Either way, play on!

it always mystifies me why TD get labelled as 'cold' as their sound is very warm, human sounding and definetely emotional...I defy anyone to listen to Johannes's solo on Logos pt 1 or the second part of Song of the Whale without having a big lump in their throat. I guess that for some people synths will always equal cold machine music.
