Is Ancient Voices the same track as Canyon Voices ?

For me it was one of the high points of the show but I did notice most people looked a bit bored during it !

Yep...in a remixed form. Hell it was one of best tracks they played!

The piano version from Reichtagsgelände 1987 is just beautiful, I used it once for study-related film project, and you really got sympathy for the hero, who was going to rob a bank, to impress his friends.

So, yes, a very good song. My favourite from the mediocre Canyon Dreams.

Bored - No.
Stunned into silence - Yes.

Seems to be a very good one. I have ordered it a few moments ago. It was this one or Summer in Nagasaki.
Made my choice now. I am sure I won't be disappointed. :)

What a cracker - haven't gone a bundle on the gig DVDs so far as they'll be an occasional play compared to the music itself but this one ended too soon.

was at SBE, not Tempodrom or Inferno gig, so I only have one comparison but this seemed to really capture the experience of being there rather than just the performance. Just enough non-gig cuts to add more interest.

I have to admit that some grizzlyEsque thoughts did arise but thinking them through I had to dismiss them... eg

why am I seeing pictures of prolly hindu culture during a Zen track? But then recalled Buddhism was an indian export (so shut up bear)

why are we getting Mandlebrot set again? Oh hang on that's a graphical representation an eternal struture - it's not like Paisley design or Rennie Mackintosh - it's a pattern from nature (of even)

won't go on

just blinding

Received my dvd today and it is playing now. I think it is great. Finally a dvd without all the old things we have heard and seen so much on other dvd's and video's. The Poland stuff is great. The Madcap's is very good. Chris is singing live as good as studio, I think a compliment. The Band is in shape. In other words Edgar, give us some more of these dvd's. :D

An excellent DVD, with some lovely fan moments as well. Theo's raised fist on the menu screen, Colin blowing kisses and Tim supping ale, all great memories of a wonderful night. Music's ok too!

An awesome DVD... my favourite. The live singing is excellent of the MFD parts and I love Hyper Shpinx, especially when Edgar plays guitar, Rare Bird, and Where Dreams Are Large And Airy, in particular 8)
