the music contained therein inside the four vinyl etchings, are surrealism in music. Dali lives in the musick. You may not enjoy or 'like' the music, as humankind is programmed to respond to 'melody' and 'tribal' beats, which tangerine dream provide immensely in their output 1974-2007...but zeit is their magnum opus, unusual and odd, difficult and classically inspired...a largo in four movements, it is a dadaist meisterwerk of uncanny weirdness, and yet all pointers to future tangmusick are there to be heard....the long slow build up, the oddly repeating pulse of sequenced notation.....the cinetamtic widescreen vistas....there are few recordings in the tangerine dream band's canon that match zeits POWER and SERENE strangeness....the cover art is total froesiandalinian superbity in paint........you know thee bigmoog is right. the album is unlistenable yet addictive, best heard occasionally and worshipped as phaedrarubycon as TOTAL MUSIC.

I listened to Zeit on the train the other day and fell asleep whilst listening to it, some little kid woke me up and I wanted to punch them ;)...I thought ambient music was meant to make you calmer? :)
