BM is listening to this track as he types
titanic guitar, locked down metronomic sequencer, etheral soundscapes, dynamic and potent 70's tangmusic, fabulous directness, cinematic and evocative, dated yet timeless....one hell of a fantastic track, awesome in its beautiful never repeated be bopness, y'know, if the trees did not exist, then this studio/live lash up would stand as a colossus amongst all TD music....because it has a reason to exist : dreamlike and serenely beautiful...i love it to death

I think that this tracks as one of the best climaxes on any TD track

Coldwater Canyon is very naturous, so cutting, vigorous and soulful.... the peak of 70's TD....

Remarkable track, remember listening to this around the early eighties and blew me away on the first listen.
Encore as a whole is an absolute classic.

CC is as then, an oddity that does not sit, in my opine, that well, with the rest of the awesome encore.cos its progressive EM....ie, someone decided to fire a total curveball at us, when i first heard thetrack....i, instantly, was hooked on its tick tock locked down pulse....and the guitar...unlike a heap of 77 edgar, is restrained yet beautifully targeted.....it could've made an entire album...it pulses with dynamic tangerinedreaminess.....
i will not apologise for the above sickening sycophancy as i felt the same in 1977....
bm is a tangmusic afficiando and as such will continue to believe

CC is Hendrixian!
Vocoder? That sounds more like a
talk box, which is a "guitar-vocoder", and makes the guitar "talk".
