IMHO a fantastic effort by TD, quite a wake up call upon their drowsier, former "glories" in the nineties.

I think it stands out of the crowd, as it actually makes me able to be physically active while listening.

Great melodies, rhythms and grooves. 9/10.

Uggh.....i hated DM1 when it came out. Seriously took me off TD for a long time. Many, many years. I havent heard this CD since the year it came out. Has to be one of TD's worst album covers too.

Well I like this album. Probably my least fave of the series but it was a new direction for TD. I was hoping for a DM 5 but it looks unlikely now. DM 4 was the best of all IMO. Not a second wasted and Jerome breathed fresh air into already good pieces.

Certainly an eye-opener at the time but improved on each time by subsequent DMs IMHO - may whack it on the phone for a reminder today

Preferred the UK 2 CD version compared to the yellow covered version

I'm not a fan of the DM series in general (although I haven't got DM3).

Mick - Get DM3 if you get a chance ,best of the lot or equal to DM4 IMHo.

Have to say I've had it on today and although it's nice enough, for me it doesn't have that one special moment that IMHO nearly every TD studio release has where I feel - "yeah, that's the stuff" which I only really get consistently with TD

I thing the DM1 is "out of time" and not timeless!
