NAVEL OF LIGHT wrote:well after a bit of a delay my 2 cd version of Are You Sequenced arrived. Not too impressed first listen...too samey but im going to immerse myself in my new Seinhauser (?) headphones later.

So vote now..what should be my next KS purchase?

(so far i have Blackdance/Dresden/Are You Sequenced/Babel/Rhiengold/Royal Festival Hall 1 & 2)
La Vie Electronique 1 and La Vie Electronique 2. No doubt, whatsoever!

I would say Mirage or Kontinuum.

I think getting the actual albums like Irrlicht, Picture Music, Moondawn, Mirage, X ought to be much higher in priority than getting the corresponding LVIs.

Started working my way through KS territory about a year ago. Most of his albums are available on emusic.com so I was using my credits month by month to build up my library. I've recently reached the stage though that I need to upgrade these MP3s to glorious CD quality. With EM more than any other style of music I really need to have 44.1/16. So out comes the credit card, fresh from its latest bashing courtesy of Edgar!
I bought the first 12 remasters as a job lot on ebay this week. Hopefully get my sweaty mitts on them this week. Works out a good bit cheaper than buying them separately. They're still pretty expensive in any online store I've checked.

I have started to collect the LVE volumes too. I missed out on the Ultimate Edition so I'm very glad to have the opportunity to build up my own UE gradually over the next few years. Now playing LVE 4 - Just An Old Fashioned KS Track. Very brave and exhilirating stuff to these ears.

I got the Rheingold DVD with Lisa Gerrard a few days back. Watched the first half of it so far and that is some stunning music. What surprised me was the warmth of the man himself - his stage presence, his interview with Steven Wilson and in the making-of documentary he seems so different to the Cyborg I imagined him to be from his music.

Nice to see that you are such fond of KS's music, DarkMatter. I too buy all the CDs. Have about 80 releases by KS on CD by now, and still collecting.

Tonight is the first of the six autumn concerts from KS. I am excited about what these shows will be like musically. Hope there will be some live release(s) from these concerts.

Tonight he plays in this castle in Warsaw:

Presume that it is a bit the same. But also a bit different as always.
Indeed great pictures, one is now on my desk as background.

I am not the big fan Klaus, I can only say that the material was the connection of the best moments from Rheingold and Dziekuje Bardzo. Many people told, that was the best concert Lisa & Klaus.
