perhaps we need a reward card? now there's an idea, a checkout at the next gig with Iris checking up the CDs....if that doesn't shift them...nothing will!hansx wrote:Besides that he has to eat, isn't it.24db wrote:Oh I agree with you as well mate. However 'there's too much from TD', this is a value judgement. It's an opinion, but I can see where you're coming from and I respect it. If it allows TD to pay to play and promote gigs like the RAH or (secret venues next year ) then I think it's more than worth it. Nobody releases as much as TD? hmmm have you ever collected FAX, with all the sub labels? that's over 400 discs. two releases a month...for several years, add in all the other labels and god knows how many releases there are...it beggars belief.hansx wrote: And again you are right. But what I want to say is: we have gotten so much material in the last 2 or 3 years and a lot of it is new. There is no artist who releases this much, but the overall quality can't be top in that way. I rather have 2 or 3 cd's a year with only the best music he can make.
I think Edgar explained to somebody who accused him of releasing too much... in that it's his diary, and you wouldn't write one page...and then stop for 6 months.
Indeed there will be more artist with a larger production. Usually for the supermarkets.
