Let us know what you think Jon...I quite like it but it's no where near as good as his earlier albums..
I agree! I have heard through it once, and it hasn't got too many of those classic Schnauss melodies that go straight into your ear and stay there. Which is a little disappointing. Like A Ghost In Your Own Life may be the best track. But I have a feeling the album is a typical "grower"...

Really ? How strange... In my opinion, "Summer..." is an excellent TD album.
A new cosmic address for the Master Dreamer...

I guess I am just stuck in a retrospective negative reality inversion.......I much prefer the more 'primal' early output. To me this just sounds like music by numbers.

On the up side I've only listened once... perhaps[s it will grow on me.

From an audiophile perspective, what do you think of the pressing and sound quality? :)

Summer in Nagasaki is an awesome album, and one of my all time favorite TD albums.

Bigmoog.....from an audiophile perspective the pressing is immaculate. In terms of musical value I think it is terrible. It is derivative and without any real structure.

I'm sure there are plenty that will love this and value it as a musical statement and thats what makes us all different. For me this has no emotion whatsoever and I am glad now that I didn't buy 'View from a Red Train' which was in the store at the same time.

This album will be on my discogs list shortly I would imagine. I'll trot off now and buy another copy of Stratosfear to console myself ;)
