Glyn i could not agree more mate. I have been hoping to hear this wonderful track "in concert" for many years and still have hopes that this might happen. Hugely underated IMHO and rather sublime 8) :D
RIP Edgar. I am going to miss you.

Amazing track indeed.

Has it never been played live??

How does the re-recording sound different?

It was most definitely played at Bristol Colsten Hall on the 1990 tour track (5) first set. That seems an age away and would love to hear it again

The I-Box version indicates it is live, but doesn't say where/when.

I remember it well.

Wow, 19 years ago!!!!

2010 will be it's 20th anniversary.

Hmmm. Maybe time to give it an airing Edgar.

It was played live as part of the set during the 1990 UK tour. I saw them five times on that tour and it was played every time, so I'm assuming it was played at all 11 shows. I think there was only any variation in the set list for the encores. I've always much preferred the live version because the guitars on the album are a bit too over-bearing. The same applies with Three Bikes In The Sky, the live version was stunning, but the guitars on the album don't really work for me.
